Is the museum open at weekends and on bank holidays?
The Design Museum is open every day — including weekends, bank holidays and Easter Sunday — except 25 and 26 December. For further details of our opening hours, please visit General Information.

Can I take photographs in the museum?
Photography is permitted in the museum, except in the Shop. No flash photography is permitted anywhere in the museum.

Who is entitled to your concessionary entry rate?
We offer entry to the museum at the concessionary rate of £6 to students, senior citizens, children aged 12 to 16, disabled visitors and those who are not in paid employment. Please provide proof of status.

Do you offer discounts for group visits?
We offer discounted entry for groups of ten or more visitors. Please contact us on education@designmuseum.org or 020 7940 8782 for further information.

Do you have audio guides?
We don't offer audio guides at present.

Do you have wheelchair access to all floors?
Yes, the museum is fully wheelchair-accessible via ramps outside the museum, and a lift to all floors inside the museum.

Does the museum have a car park?
We don't have a car park, but there is a Q-Park nearby on Gainsford Street, and parking meters on the roads around the museum. Please note that the Q-Park has a vehicle height restriction of two metres. If you have any queries about the Q-Park, please contact them on 020 7407 1584 or visit their website, www.q-park.co.uk.

Can coaches drop passengers off outside the museum?
Single-deck coaches can drop passengers off outside the museum on Shad Thames, but — due to height restrictions — not double-deck coaches.
