Super Contemporary – Celebrate Your City!
Sunday 26 July 2 – 5pm
What would you build to celebrate your capital city? Inspired by Super Contemporary, the museum’s celebration of London’s dynamic design story, here’s your chance to create mini 3D designs for London, from pioneering parks and playgrounds to beautiful bridges and buildings.
Marvellous Mariscal
Sundays 6, 27 September 2- 5pm
Sundays 4, 18 October 2 - 5pm
Inspired by the work of multi-talented cartoonist, artist and designer Javier Mariscal, come and design your own 3D cartoon characters. Help us create giant comic strips on the walls and then add your 3D models to our magical Mariscal landscape for a souvenir photograph that can be emailed to everyone taking part. A team of talented designers and illustrators will be on hand to help you with your cartoon creations. These workshops are part of The Big Draw, the Campaign for Drawing’s annual programme of nationwide events.
“… the workshop was a whole different experience from other workshops we’ve been to as it was led by industry experts and they really inspired my daughter to experiment and stretch herself. The materials were really high quality - the only thing was I wanted to participate too!”
Clare, mother of one, Waterloo
"...it was absolutely brilliant and fantastically well organised. We wouldn't have missed it for the world."
