DANIEL BROWN
Like many web designers Daniel Brown discovered the medium - and drew his early inspiration - from the video games he played as a child. He has since sought to refine the frenzied aesthetic of those games by creating fluid, humorous images for the web which are as emotionally expressive as music.
Born in Liverpool in 1977, Brown left school early and started work at the Learning Methods Unit in the city's John Moores University, which was
developing interactive learning tools on CD-Rom and the internet. He also worked on personal projects for his noodlebox website. Now living and working in London, Daniel Brown is multimedia director of the SHOWstudio fashion and art site. He also continues to develop experimental work for his play-create site.
