Matthew Williamson commented: "Great design - original, fluid, sculptural and bold. It takes the poncho to another level."

Kayleigh on her design: "Predominantly my inspiration came from the Mexican poncho and Aztec jewel hues. I attempted to make the poncho a more glamourous garment, by using metallic, heavily pleated satin for the main body of the dress and through the use of accessories, like the satin turban, to give a more chic and retro look. As the dress is shapeless, I made it more feminine and sexy by giving glimpses of bare skin - the back and forearm. Jewels and rhinestones are used to give a subtle shimmer and act as a form of decoration overall."
